What to Expect on a fishing trip

What to Expect on a fishing trip

Captain Jody Jansen will strive to provide a great experience sharing his knowledge and success to individuals of all ages. He can accommodate up to 4 persons in his boat. He also has a network of other area guides if larger groups need accommodations. Your enjoyment and safety is his number one concern. He is certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Along with full insurance coverage and U.S. Captain license certification. Jody will do anything he can to make your trip enjoyable and successful employing different tactics based on the conditions and the current bite. At the end of the day, no matter how many fish are in the livewell, I want you to be able to say, "That was a great day out on the water" for I don't have control over how the fish bite is going to be, I do have control on how your experience on the water will be. We can provide photos and your catch at the end of the trip.

Fishing Boat

Fishing Boat

We fish from a brand new 2018 Nitro ZV21, a 21 ft. 7 in multi species boat powered by a 300 hp Mercury Pro Verado. Our boat is equipped with a Motorguide Xi5 GPS trolling motor and 4 networked Lowrance locators. This boat provides all occupants with a stable, fast, dry, and comfortable ride. We also use some of the best fishing tackle and equipment available from Berkley, Diawa, Okuma, Shimano, Off Shore Tackle and many more. Our extensive investment in equipment helps us to try to make each outing enjoyable and successful.
